Who is Jesus?

God loved us so much He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to take the punishment that you and I deserved because of our sinful nature.  Here is His story.

From the beginning of time, as we know it, it has been God’s heart to walk in fellowship with us. Because Adam and Eve choose to disobey God, our fellowship with Him was cut off.

However, because of His love for us, He made provision for us to come back into fellowship with Him.  That provision was made 2,000 years ago by the only begotten son of God dying on the cross for our sins.  Jesus Christ became the sacrifice God demanded for our disobedience.

The word "Sin" sounds so religious, but it simply means missing the mark.   It is very much like shooting at a target and missing.   Jesus came to make our aim straight so that we no longer need to miss out on what God has planned for us. The way He did that was by dying on the cross for us.  When we accept His gift of love then we no longer need to fear the punishment from a Holy God. Unlike all other religious leaders, Jesus Christ rose from the dead three days after He was crucified.  After showing Himself to over 500 people, He went back to Father God in heaven and sent the Holy Spirit to live in us when we surrender to Him. . We are then free to become all that God created us to be. It's as simple as that.

Won’t you ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart so you too can experience starting over again before the Creator of the universe, Father God?  If you would like to do that then pray the following prayer:

Father God,

I come to you in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ.  I believe He is the Son of God, the second person of the Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that He took my sins upon Himself on the cross 2000 years ago.  I further believe He was raised from the dead, sent the Holy Spirit to live in me and is now with you as my advocate in your courtroom.  Jesus come into my heart and live with me as Lord, Savior and Friend forever. Amen

If you have ask Jesus to be your Savior, I would love to hear from you.  Please take the time to email me so that I can agree with you in prayer for your needs.  We serve a wonderful God that desires to meet your needs.

In Christ,
Rev. Lyn
